The populist movements in the European continent have increased, and due to the threat they pose, all elections in Europe have been closely followed by the mass media.

Motivated by the decision of the United Kingdom to abandon the European Union, and by the election of the American President Donald Trump, the French candidate Marine Le Pen, nationalist and Eurosceptic, seeks to come to power in the forthcoming elections. The same scenario taking place in Germany, where elections will happen in September.

Recently, populist parties lost the elections in Holland and Austria, but still their increase has shaken society and divided the public opinion. Considering this, it’s important to present the numbers that justify this growing populist wave in Europe and how threatening it can be.
