“Unlike the animals, who knew only the present, Man had acquired a past; and he was beginning to grope toward a future.” ― Arthur C. Clarke, 2001: Space Odyssey

To represent the science fiction novel written by Arthur C. Clarke, classical references were used, such as the graphism of ancient astronomy maps, and the frame and almost “Bodonian” page layout, but also modern references such as the Futura font (a little homage to Stanley Kubrick’s cinematographic adaptation posters) and the retro space images of the 60s. Throughout the book, there are a few small, black pages representing the profound and starry Monolith.
